I want a new monitor, actually a second monitor, and cannot decide.

The two in question are:


Asus 22"

Samsung TOC 22"

Obviously the samsung has a higher contrast ratio, but they are both 2 ms, which is what I was really looking for.

Am I going to notice the contrast ratio difference that much for 80-100 bucks more?

Should I just wait til Thanksgiving time and pray for a better deal or is that Asus a solid choice?

It's up to you. I have always loved my Samsung monitors, but that's a pretty big price difference.

You may be wise to wait for Black Friday - they usually have tons of deals - both in store and online.
