This is weird. I don't know what happened, but I now have Windows XP on my 200MMX and it is working fine except for one thing... it wont turn off!
It may be that I have uninstalled/installed programs and drivers that has my poor computer confused, but when I went to shut it off one night, the thing just re-started. After trying to shut off several times I thought of going to restart, but that also restarted the computer. Lastley, I went to hibernate and after Windows did its thing, it said "It is now safe to turn off your computer." I turned it off and went to bed.
The next day I went to turn on the computer and Windows came up and was ready to run faster than my 1G! Wow! I like that! My Questions are these: Will it be alright to leave the computer in this mode? Does this harm the computer? Do I still have to reboot when installing new drivers and programs?
