Hi all... hope you can help me with my problem...:( i have bought yestreday a xfx gtx 280 vga card to replace my 9800gtx,,,after replacing my old VGa card xfx 9800gtx it doesnt boot to bios or windows.... :( .... all i hear is long beep & 2 short short one... then bec. i am using a ASUS STRIKER II FORMULA mother board....i can see from my lcd poster a message like this... "VGA BIOS" then ther ERROR MSG.... do you have any idea on how to fix this? or is the VGA that i purchaed is not relly wokring well? i also have a corsiar 4gb dominator for my ram... my PSU is theraltake 750 watts.... pls,pls,pls tell me what to do.... thanks in advace.... :)

well from the error message it would seem that the card is defect from the factory. did you plug in the power to the graphics card?

double check that the power connector is properly connected and that the card is seated properly

yes i did plug the 6pin & 8pin pcie from the vga card sir....
