any help on setting DDR3 to its correct value would be greatly appreciated.
my problem is that with the bios memory set to auto it reads the memory
as 1067 if i maually set the DDR Speed to 1333 it runs fine but i am not sure
of what settings to change to get the correct memory reading and performance

Well you need to change the fequency to 666 or 667 (whatever is showed in the bios) and manually key in the timings and voltage.

For example my ram is 1600Mhz DDR3, so it is set to 800Mhz (1600Mhz) and timings are 7-7-7-20-33 at 1.9v

Your ram should have the timings and voltage printed on the heat spreader or package.
