I bought a nVidia EVGA 9800gx2 from newegg, it is supposed to be 2000mhz memory, but on evga precision its telling me 1000mhz??? Is this a defective card? Thanks
no, Precision from my recollection halves it, don't worry its actually 2000 mhz, its just for overclocking its better to half it so you can control it better.
Thats about as basic I can make it, if it makes sense If you look at card specifications it will have the mhz, then either divided by 2 or multiplied by 2
