Hey guys, I just built an i7 machine. System runs "alright" with two 2gb sticks of Corsair XMS3 (tr3x6g1333c9) but anytime I add the third stick, it won't boot. I have the sticks in the three black slots.

I also get a few random BSoD (with 4gb). I haven't changed any BIOs options, this is a completely stock rig so far.

Parts:

i7 920
Corsair XMS3 1333
MSI x58 platinum SLI
Cooler master 600w
640gb black caviar WD HDD
Vista ultimate 32

I know...32 doesn't run 6gb, just trying to figure out this issue before I run the upgrade disc. I wanted to bench the difference in 32-bit vs. 64-bit

Thanks

I found out that it was my card reader that was causing the problems. If I remove the card reader the PC boots in under 15 seconds (versus 70 seconds) and runs fine with tri-channel now.
