Hey all,

I have this odd problem where my computer will freeze randomly within 5 minutes, unless I have Dynamic Energy Saver running... it's a Gigabyte EP45-DS3L updated to newest firmware, a Intel Core2Duo E7300, and my memory is 2X1Gb OCZ PC2-6400 memory
"DDR2 PC2-6400 Gold GX XTC Rev 2- 1GB Module
EL DDR2 PC2-6400/800MHz/Gold Gamer eXtreme/XTC Edition Rev. 2!
800MHz DDR2, CL 4-5-5-15 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS), Unbuffered, Gold
Layered XTC Heatspreader, 1.95-2.1 Volts, 240-Pin DIMM, 2.2V EVP."

I have the same response on both fail-safe and optimized settings, and I already have tried this on a fresh install of XP and Vista - both will crash unless I have DES running!

see what happens... (BTW, if Dynamic Energy Saver runs, it will complain...)

Is there a particular reason you have your northbridge (MCH Clock Skew [100ps]) 'skewed'? If not, leave on [auto]
