New Disc, Cloning XP

Hello,
I have a new 500gig WD Drive. Want to clone my 7 yr old 80 gig WD which is 80 percent used.
How to start? Set up as basic drive or dynamic? Need to set up as Data tools puts it, "the new boot-able drive"? Which clone tool to use? Running Windows XP Professional 32 bit. Appreciate your input.

Since they are both WD drives, you can try their cloning utility.

The Acronis by WD was fast and flawless. Up and running in about 45 minutes. Cloned 65g sata to sata that fast!
