I am going to overclock my PII X3 720 BE. Given that the multiplier is unlocked, I figure the process will be fairly simple.
My plan is to simply increase the CPU multiplier until it crashes and then add voltage, until heat becomes an issue. Then I will tweak NB speed and RAM divider to get the most out of the system.
What voltage is considered safe for 720? What about the NB voltage? I want the most out of my computer, but don't want to shorten its life too much.
My mobo is GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P which has no heatsink on the VRM, so upping the voltage may overheat it as well.
