So my computer was assembled yesterday, and powered up fine, fans spinning and all led lights on. This morning I went to boot for the first time then load windows. The computer powered on fine but on the monitor it says No Input Signal. Im not hearing any of the common start up nosies either. I tried clearing the cmos according to the asus manual, i tried re connecting the pwr and reset connectors. I checked my power supply connections. I know the monitor works cause its the one ive been using on my old computer. Any solutions?

ASUS P5k Pro
Intel e8500
MSi 4850
Corsair 750w pwr supply
8 Gb mushkin ddr 2
WD veloci Raptor 300gb

Do you got the 8 pin CPU 12v ATX plugged in on top of the mobo?

Yes thats plugged in.

Put one stick of ram in and reset the cmos. Get the beast running and install all the updates, especially SP1 if you have Vista.

You might need a bios update for all that ram as well, and it could be the ram needs more volts. You will need to set the volts and timings manually and it will need .1-.2 more volts then stock with that much ram.

So im gonna start back it again today after work, it sucks cause I work 7:30 to 5 so actually finding solid time to figure this out is limited. I'll update if i find a solution or not.

Well I tried everything, finally took it too a computer shop too see if they could figure out. I was there while the guy checked and he said its most likely a bad mobo, so im having it replaced.
