Homebuild 101

Can anyone provide some links to some basic, step-by-step articles on building a computer. For example - what to watch out for at various steps, things to avoid, what to expect ... etc. I have gotten a lot of good recommendations and suggestions from in here ... but to have a nice, condensed "handbook" to refer to and walk you through the process would be nice. Also, it might help avoid some costly mistakes. Thanks.
