I built my tower several years ago, and have since forgotten what little I knew about computers. I have a ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 939 ULi M1695 ATX AMD motherboard. I originally set it up with two hard drives, a CD burner and a DVD burner, all running off IDE, and ignored the SATA ports. Recently, I decided to replace my CD and DVD drives, as they were worn out, and blindly ordered a new pair of DVD drives. Imagine my suprise when they were Sata drives! Eventually, I found the right connectors, and got them both mounted and hooked in.
However, XP doesn't recognize them as DVD drives when I reboot. Instead, it tells me it's discovered a "Mass Storage Controller" and can't find any drivers for it.
I've poked around the internets, but I can't seem to find any answers to my problem. Anyone have any suggestions?

Nevermind, I found an update to the firmware for the mobo and it cleared it right up.
