I'm making a 3rd server computer with some components lieing around.

CPU: Athlon 5000+ BE @ 3.24
RAM: Kingston Value Ram 2 gig stick
Fan:Stock
Motherboard: Asus Sli-Deleuxe
Hard Drive: Seagate 250 gig HDD
Video Card: 9600 GT OC
DVD Drives: 1 LG burner
Blue RAy: Lite on BlueR Reader only, DVD burner RW/Re etc
P.S.U: Thermaltake 420 Watt PSu

I bought a new PSU which is exactly like my dad's computer except his is 400 wat, and the components are almost exactly the same, except for the CPu which is a 4400+ Single Core.

Anyways I plugged everything in. I plug in the monitor, it detects that it was plugged in, but says no signal. I don't kno what it could be. I tried Bios reset, I tried re adjusting the ram and CPu, made sure the cables were all plugged etc.

The 9600 GT was okay before, could something have happened? Could it be the new ram???

Any ideas?

Try a different power supply. That power supply is still conforming to old standards with 30 amps on the 3.3v rail and 10a+15a on the 12v rails.

I hope thats not the case :P if thats the case, I'd better off grabbing a low profile graphics cards:P, atleast that way I'll just switch to micro ATX when the time comes.
