Help needed....ram problem!!

hello,

i have a 1GB DDR2 333.4 MHz dual channel RAM, but i want to get a new one that is atleast 2 or 3 GB,
can anyone please help me and tell me what should i do? Can i buy a new 2GB RAM (DDR 2) that is 800mhz ?
