Okay, should I run the section on deleting older files? In one place it says harmful - in another it says good for computer - which is correct?

Might be as well to post a few specimen file names before deleting anything. Some can be binned - others cannot. You can safely delete a lot of XP files that came in as part of the update process and all the temporary files.

Are you trying to save space or speed things up a bit?
