Hello,
I was just interested in knowing if this device is good for removing some space from my computer. I've only %10 left on my factory image-D drive left

A link is going to free space? Run disk cleaner, ccleaner and uinstall old programs you dont need. Also a clean install would work if you want to do that and have the time

The D Drive on HP's is the system restore utilities. It's not meant for storage. I would not suggest messing with it at all.
