Overclocking my new build - advice?

Greetings all. Below I've listed the components of my new rig. I had a few questions regarding the overclocking process and wouldn't mind some advice. I plan on using the system for gaming (eq2, Mass Effect 2, MW2, etc) and other basic entertainment. The system is not yet built, but is expected to arrive Monday. Also, if it makes a difference, the monitor's resolution is 1900x1000. Now, the questions:

1.) With the products below, is the potential from OC worth while? If so, what is an estimated stable/safe increase?
2.) If anyone has experience with OCing any of the components, what are some recommended "settings"?
3.) What component would be my safest bet to increase performance the most?
4.) Can I overclock the system right from the initial BIOS set-up, or is it best to go back after things are up and running?

More about overclocking build advice
  1. Also, I was concerned with my video card. The system will primarily be used for gaming and I do plan on OCing. Will the card be able to stand the OCing process?
  2. Overclocking the CPU will have no effect on the video card. I do not like to OC video cards. They run hot enough anyway.
