This is going to sound like a dumb question, but. I got a corsair 650TX with no power cable. I have 2 and I'm wondering which one I should use.

18G with 10A 12.5V 1250W And 16G with 13A 12.5V 1625W (from a CRT). Does the difference in AMP of the cable matter? I assume thicker is better.

Input current on the 650TX is 10A at full load, so the 10A will work, but I would use the 13A. You really want the cord to be rated to deliver more than the load or it will get warm, but you will probably never be at the max of the PSU.

Just so you know, it's not 12.5V it's 125V.
