Hey, my first post on this forum and it comes to you asking for a little wisdom.

I just finished an OC on my 920 with 19x multiplier at 200 mhz (3.8ghz). In the Windows system info it says 3.8ghz but in cpuz it is reading as 21x multi and 4.2ghz. Is this just a bug in cpuz (version 1.52.2)?

I'm assuming it is incorrect and the bios and sys info are correct. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Turbo Mode is probably turned on or set to auto. It's bumping it a multi level, which could likely be enough to cause instability.

Double check the Turbo setting. I've had a couple times where I thought it was disabled, and then saw the same thing, went back into the BIOS and found it was on Auto again.

Ok thanks. Yes it did cause instability. Got bsod in prime. went back into bios and turbo was indeed on. After resetting to defaults, turbo off and changing some other settings I've now got 4ghz and ram at 1600 stable so far and at lower temps. Thanks for the help
