Core, memory and shader clocks are all higher with the SSC edition.

Answer: Who cares, get the SSC and thank tigerdirect

lol the SSC version is like 27Mhz faster on the core clock speed... I don't see a catch though. The SSC model is clocked barely higher than the SC version and both are the same price, both come with evga's overclocking utility, and both come with free offer for FarCry 2.

yeah, anyone notice that the unavailable q9450 on newegg is like $10 more than the q9550?

actually, alotta junk is priced like this....

I just looked and the SSC is faster and $10 cheaper (not including the rebate). If I had the money, I'd go for the SSC version.
