I got 256MB DDR-266MHz-CL2 PC2100U in one slot. Added one Kingston 512MB 266MHz DDR PC2100 in 2nd slot. System boot add keep on repeating choice of bootsetup, dos prompt and start system normally.

Hi theAnimal, thank you.
Later I checked with Acer. Found that the the ram boards have to of same MB. i.e. both 512MB or both 256MB. Cannot have a 512MB with a 256MB.
