Hi everyone... first post and of course I have questions!

I'm looking to put together my next PC after taking about 4 years off the tech thing... so I'm 4 years out of the loop and playing catchup. I want a decently powerful system with the ability to play most decent games out nowadays and run stable w/o overclocking. I also want the ability to overclock and have an upgrade path when it begins to show it's age in a year or so. Here is my shopping list after much research... I hope it looks good! I want to push the button this Friday and buy everything!!

WD caviar HD and a lite-on burner. XP for now. I got the bigger PS since I think a possible upgrade path in the future would be getting another card for x-fire.

I really hope I'm on the track... be easy on me if I'm not! lol.

You are definitely on the right track! Here are a few friendly suggestions:

For close to the same price you can get a quality Corsair 750W PSU here:

I don't know about Lite-On quality. I prefer Samsung or LG. I just recently purchased this one and have been very happy with it so far.

Is there a reason you're sticking with XP? Vista is really stable now and you should have a 64-bit OS so you can use all your RAM.
