I7 920 D0

Q1) If I buy the i7 920 from newegg, while i get a D0?

Q2) Why when overclocking do you raise the ref clock until BSOD and then raise voltage. Why not just raise the voltage to a comfortable level (say 1.375v) and then raise ref clock until instability under prime95?

Q3) Is there a heatsink cheaper than the dark night with better performance?

Thanks!
