ive been looking at graphics cards from newegg, and ive decided that i should purchase a 4870 1 gig, but i can not tell the difference between these 2 cards. I would like to know which one is better, because all of the specs seem almost the same.

The latter has a different fan, that is all. Don't know if the fan is better or not but that is the only difference, a non stock cooler

Seems like 100259-1GL is a newer part number.

Don't rule out this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814131120
It comes factory OC'd for a few dollars less and performs very well. I have mine OC'd to 810/960 and the Zerotherm cooler works very well.

what about this one, it looks like it has a mail-in-rebate so it would make it about $30 cheaper. or is there anything wrong with it?

It looks just like their Toxic Vapor-X series but it doesn't say that it is. Not sure what series it is supposed to be or what makes it different. It says Silent Efficiency on the top though. Strange that it isn't on their website.
