Switch to RAID

If possible, kindly advise upon the following : two new hard disks shall appear, together with a new motherboard and processor ( plus some memory ). I would like to keep the existing two hard disks, one of which has the the OS on a partition and use the two new disks as a RAID1 mattrix, for storage purposes only.

Do you think that is feasible ? If yes, please detail how.

With many thanks and best regards,

  1. With a new motherboard, you'll probably have to reinstall the OS. So you'd need to attach the existing drives to the motherboard, install the OS and your applications, then attach and configure the two new drives as RAID.
