i bought a dell computer a little while back and have had no problems with my internet until recently...i'll be using IE, then all of a sudden, the browser will slow, then drop the site...i'll check on the wireless connection and it always goes from an excellent connection with "local and internet" to excellent condition but "local only"...to access the internet again, i have to disconnect then reconnect...i've reset the router but doesn't seem to work...any suggestions? i'm using vista and have avg free...thanks in advance!

what router is this?

First off, try the latest firmware for the router, they can be had on the manufacturers site. Make sure you check which hardware revision of the router you have.
