Hi guys,

I built a brand new computer about 3 months ago and my Asus P5K Deluxe died last week. I sent it to Asus for a RMA, but I was looking at buying a new mobo and putting that one up as a backup when it it comes back from Asus. My Current parts are:

Intel Q9300
EVGA 9800 GTX
OCZ 4GB Kit
Windows Vista 64 Bit

Honestly I really don't know what to buy guys. Over the past few days I have read so many newegg reviews, and forum posts that I have a headache. My budget for the board is around 200.00 US. I really don't have a need for SLI, and don't plan on overclocking a whole lot. I play some games on the computer and my wife and kids use it alot, so I really want something that will be reliable and stable. The games that i play on it are Team Fortress 2, some WOW, and I was thinking of getting Warhammer Online. I have always bought Asus boards and have never owned anything but their products, so I don't know a whole lot about the other makers. I have been looking around alot like I said and here are the 3 that I was looking at.

Again thanks again for taking the time to read my post, and any advice I would really appreciate.

I'd eliminate the P5Q Deluxe because it's expensive and has trouble fitting some coolers.

I'd also eliminate the eVGA 750i because it's based on an nVidia chipset. It's also too expensive IMO since you don't care about SLI.

The GA-EP45-UD3P looks good in specs, especially the parts about 8 SATA ports, but it's new and I have no idea if it can be trusted yet. It's probably OK, because P45 is a very good chipset and Gigabyte does good work these days, but it's safer to wait for some reviews first.

Look at the Asus P5Q Pro and the GA-EP45-DS3R too.
