Hi - I was looking at the system requirements for this card (http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hvr1800.html) and it states that it requires a graphics adapter. I have a computer that came with integrated graphics (Intel 3100). I could pick up a cheapo card somewhere, but just wanted to know if the TV tuner can run without it.

Thanks,
- Eli

I do like this card but I read the system requirements differently. Currently the applicable requirement is for: "Graphics with 64 MB memory (or greater)". As I read it, shared video memory (like my Intel chipset provides) is not precluded. The Intel site may provide more information about your specific chipset.

Ok, I see the word "adapter" in the response to FAQ 2. This is inconsistent with the sytem requirements tab. Perhaps Hauppage would care to clarify if someone asked.
