I've been looking all over and I cannot find a solution to this question. I have a

MSI P7N SLI Platinum LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard and and currently two 8800gt's (320mb). I was looking to upgrade, but was thinking about getting a radeon 4870. Is this usable in my computer, or should I stick with a geforce card? Thanks!

Yes, a single 4870 will work just fine on your motherboard.
You will not, however, be able to CrossFire it with out switching to an Intel based motherboard.

Welcome to the forums!

This is an approximate comparison of the cards. Check the advantage of the new setup before buying.

yeah it won't matter I've tested 4870s on my 780i and they go maybe a few frames slower than on an ATI/AMD chipset because I also tested it with my friends 790FX board with a comparable CPI
