Is it Ok to have different brands of RAM? I'm using two different brand.


Corsair XMS2 2G DDR2
PC2-6400 (400 MHz)

and

Apacer 1G DDR2
PC2-4300 (266 MHz)

Sometimes maybe if you run the same speed, timings, and voltage. The Apacer 1G is slowing your XMS2 2G down. Ram will run at the lowest speed in your case 266MHz instead of 400MHz.

Thanks man, I'm gonna sell my Apacer and maybe buy a new XMS2.
