I just built a system with the P5Q board and installed 2x1GB of OCZ reaper 1066 ram. The board is only recognising 1 GB of RAM and it does not matter which slots they are placed in. I have checked both sticks of RAM and they both work. What could be the problem?

Make sure you have set the RAM/DIMM voltage in the BIOS to the spec value for your specific DIMMs. OCZ tends to sell overclocked/overvolted modules which can have such problems.
