Hey, im new here and have a worrying problem. My pc won't power up past post without me unplugging it and hitting the clear cmos switch. After i do that it acts nrmally for a day or so and then bombs out, have to repeat the process. I am about to flash the bios if that fails i will simply ra the board. Anyone else got any tips?

System:
Core i7 920,
Gigabyte ga-ex58-ds4
6gb Kingston ddr3 1333
Misc sata hdds
Asus 8800 gts 512

Have you tried doing a "Load Optimized Defaults"?

Did loading optimized defaults work? I have the same issue and a clear cmos works but this isn't really ideal for the user....
