Guyz,

I'll B buying 4870 1GB soon, and wondering if Palit is a Good option.... (Good quality fan, etc...)

I myself prefer sapphire and love the reference design, as it throws the air directly out of the case, whereas palit has Two fans but an open blower design that injects air into the case thus highering the temps. of other components....

Is it true palit runs cooler than ref. board designs... ?
IF yes, you think i should go with it... As i am having a concern about hot air circulating inside... + i live where temps are 27-30C !

Also, palit is factory overclocked (Which i dont like much) & i believe overclocked products have shorter lifespan.

So whats the best pick... considering everything ?

PS: I dont care about bundle or price

Get sapphire, my 4870 is yet to let me down. With temps very low.

I would go for the sapphire over the palit card although I must say I'm happy with the HIS 4870 1gb

Is this Palit's sonic edition?

Neither Palit or Sapphire have especially great tech support.

Pretty much whichever one is the cheapest ...
