Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.
Firstly, it isn't a good idea to publish your e-mail address in public fora - it may be sold on to the SPAMming idiots.
Some USB sticks have a tiny switch which toggles Write Protect on and off but if you don't have one of those, try this Registry tweak.
Go from Start to Run and into the Open box, type regedit then press Enter. From the File menu, select Export then note the name and location of the backup you're about to create in case anything goes wrong. This is an important step.
Thenm, navigate as you owuld in Windows Explorer to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies and double click on the string named WriteProtect and change the ‘Value Data’ box to ‘0’
Leave the Registry by the File>Exit menu and restart the computer - twice. That should do the trick.
