I would make these changes, otherwise keep your picks...

CPU
-Intel over AMD
-Quad Core 9550 or 9450
-Dual Core 8400

MOBO
-P45 Intel chipset
-X48 Intel chipset: better a bit for Crossfire c/w P45. I like the Asus P5E Deluxe or for bit more money the Asus Rampage.

GPU
-ATI 4850 or 4870 or 4870x2 (order of increasing $$$)

CASE
-Cosmos S over Cosmos 1000: Cosmos is steel, poorer hard drive cooling, less fans an fan upgrade slots.

HARD DRIVE
-get the 640GB version of your pick

CPU COOLER
-Xigmatek S-1283

Raidmax has several quality fairly inexpensive cases ~ $45

Intel is better performance than AMD E8500 ~ $180

Unless your going to play some pretty intense games, you can scale back the video card to Geforce 8000 series. I use the MSI Geforce 8400 for my builds and they play all of my games perfectly. ~ $40

If you want to go with the AMD 9950BE then go with the 790FX with the 750SB for best overclocking and performance. $189

it's a crossfire motherboard 16x/16x/8x/8x so change 9800GX2 to a HD4870 or a HD4870x2.
Hard drive go with the WD 640GB SATA for just a small bit more.
