Hey guys, I posted a problem I'm having over in the networking section. Was wondering if any of you hardcore guru's could give me a hand, I'm about to set myself on fire....
I only posted it over here as it seems after reading lots of these posts that many posters over here are technically savvy, and this section gets tons of hits. Been pulling my hair out trying to get this problem fixed and am stretching a bit I guess. My apologies.
Contact your ISP's tech support and they'll help you to determine what's wrong. If your modem won't connect, they'll be able to tell you if it's a configuration issue or a line issue.
I've been working with those clowns at my ISP for 3 days now. My modem is working well, Sufboard, and according to them the Surfboards do not do any NATing, I took out my router, added exceptions to my win FW, turned off my win FW, checked all my "services" are running etc etc etc. Still can't get any tcp ports open.. If you have any suggestions maybe you could hop over to the networking forum? I really don't know what else to try at this point. Thanks Ghislaing.
