Hi I have installed a new asus p5nd motherboard in my computer and now have serious lag when I play games like call of duty 4 and world at war. I had a computer place do the repair and they also replaced the power supply. Drivers are up to date nad I did not have any lag at all before my pc crapped out. My specs are pentium extreme dual core 3.73 mhz 2 gig ram, wester digital raptor sata 10,000 rpm hard drive, 2 7900 gt video cards in sli mode and phys x accelerator. The computer guy told me he repaired windows and did not have to reformat the drive, could not reformatting the drive be my problem? I thought when you change mother boards you have to reformat. my old board was a asus p5n32 sli deluxe and was replaced with the p5nd. thanks for your help

Well, it's not reformatting the drive, but essentially reinstalling windows so it has the right components for the MB hardware. In theory, that can be accomplished via a "repair install" of windows (assuming Win XP).
Have you double-checked using Windows Update for newer drivers?
