Motherboard's temperature gets very high

Hi,

I have problems with MB temperature. It shows constant 63 degrees Celsius when idle and gets a bit higher when playing games. Other PC components such as CPU or GPU are below 40 degrees Celsius when idle. All fans are working. BIOS are up to date. I don't remember having such high MB temp. What is the normal temperature for this MB? How could i fix this issue?

Athlon 64 X2 6400+
Ati Radeon HD 2600 XT
PQI 2 GB ram single channel
530W power

What program are you using to look at this temperature?

I use everest ultimate for monitoring temperatures but BIOS shows the same...

Perhaps you have a bad sensor; the whole issue of where that sensor is seems a mess - no one admits to knowing precisely what it is measuring... My bet is MCH temp, but it's exactly that - a guess. Perhaps it's a question for Janus Yeh, the GB tech rep over at TweakTown:
