Is it time to replace my old raptors?

My current OS hard drive is a Western digital 10,00 Raptor
model number = WD1500ADFD

I'm using my machine for gaming and have recently purchased a 1.5 tb 7,200 that gets better read writes then my raptor.

I have a $180 budget
should I replace my os drive with

(I will be installing current PC games on my hard drive and running them with no cd cracks, so that they can run faster off of my hard drives)

also would my games run better if I install them on a hard drive thats no my C drive. or does it not make a difference?

installing in different physical will give better performance than installing on same drive..

For your budget, I would consider a SSD for the OS drive. Install your current game there also. Research carefully because the SSD market is changing by the day. Look at the Intel X25-V 40gb drive for $125:

Yeah I'm thinking that would be a good option. And i think they will be fast enough for what im doing.
