can my 800w psu handle 2 9800gtx+?

I'm looking to buy 2 9800gtx+ and run them in sli mode during thank giving sales, just not sure can my 800w psu handle the load? also, can someone verify for me if this set up will out perform the new geforce 280 series? cuz i can buy them around $350 which is about $100 cheaper than a single 280. thx a lot!

Hes not using GX2's, they are GTX's. And there is nothing wrong with SLi'ing 9800GTX+'s Rangers.

correct, 2 9800 gtx+ in sli performs well in all the benchmarks i have seen
