I recently upgraded my graphics card from ATI Radeon HD2600XT to a XFX 9800GTX+. Everything works fine but I have encounter one problem. Everytime I tried to put it at 1920x1200, which is the native resolution of my monitor (a 24" Acer), it is not working. Everything will be show as "blown up" and about 1/3 of the screen will be off to the right side. When I check my monitor detail it shows that I was using 1600x1200, when I'm clearly running it at 1920x1200. It happen not only on the desktop, but on games also.
So right now I was forced to run it at 1920x1080. Does anyone where know how to fix this problem?
I did tried update/uninstall/reinstall the drivers, but it doesn't help.
Is it the graphic card's problem? If it is I still have time to return it and exchange for another one.
I have recently find out that my monitor will shows this problem on any 16:10 resolutions. The whole screen is stretched out and again about 1/3 or 1/4 of the screen are scrolled to the right side.
Anyone have a similar problem and get any solution about it?
no my monitor has a native resolution of 1920x1200. I have being using that ever since I got the monitor in April. I have no problem using that resolution with my old ATI HD2600XT. Right after I change the video card to the XFX9800GTX+ I can't use that resolution anymore.
