Hi, i have a Q9550 E0, overclocked to 3.4 ghz ( 400x8.5) 1.18v, i idle around 30-30-34-32 to 33-33-38-35
Load temps with intel burnin and P95 are around 60-60-63-61 C , this is with tjmax at 100c, dont know whether is should be 95c or 100c? but anyways are these good temps for my overclock? I'm using a Scythe Katana 2 with AS5
I'm planning on upgrading to a hyper 212 plus, im not sure if it will make a big difference with my temps.

OK - The utilities you used are okay. A room temperature of 20C is about 68F

You are definitely within the cpu's thermal operating range. No problem there.

At stock settings with no overclocking typical readings at idle are about 2C to 4C above ambient room temperature which would make it about 22C to 24C. During Prime95 at full load typical readings max out at about 50C in a well built system.

What I can't remember are the readings for an overclocked system. A temp somewhere around 60C sounds right. Lately most of the temperature questions have been about the new Intel Core i7 cpu's.

Don't have anything to check ambient room temp in my house, if i had to guess i'd say 20c
I used coretemp/realtemp/HWmonitor, all read the same (within 1-2c sometimes) all use 100c tjmax that i know of aswell
