I am upgrading from DSL to Comcast cable internet and need help picking a router. The advertised speed is 20/4 but that's with that Powerboost bologna which only effects the first bit of a file so I don't know what the actual speeds will end up being. The router needs to be wirless but only for checking Outlook on a laptop. The PC, Playstation 3, and XBox 360 will be hard wired. What I am looking for is a good router mainly for PS3 and X360 and one that can properly handle having 2 systems (2 Xbox's or 2 PS3's) playing online at the same time both hard wired to the router. I don't want to spend a fortune but I don't need to pinch pennies either...I'd go up to $200.00 if necessary but I don't want to spend that kind of money on something like a "gaming router" (D-Link 4500) if it's not worth it. Also, keep in mind that I have a decent knowledge of computers and hardware but I know NOTHING about networking (port fowarding and all that stuff). Thanks in advance.
P.S. - Is the internet speed I am upgrading to suitable for hosting PS3/Xbox?
