Recommendations on M3N-HT Deluxe

Hello i was wondering if i did the right thing. Right now my rig is a Xfx 750a mobo wit phenom x3 2.4 ghz processor and 4gb ram and gtx285. Well im upgrading to the Asus m3n-HT Deluxe and Phenom II x4 3.0 ghz. did i do the right thing? will my computer drastically increase?

Without knowing what makes you happy, we can't guess about whether or not this was the "right thing" for you. Your CPU will be roughly 25% faster on tasks that fully use up to 3 cores at once, and 25% faster than that on tasks that fully use all 4 cores. I wouldn't expect any noticeable boost in gaming unless you get a faster graphics card.

well i want something really fast and i mean FAST haha and right now my x3 locks up for like 3 seconds just loading My Computer and when i play 007 on x3 when i go though a check point it freezes for a second and my uncle who has the new setup im getting rolls right though that ****
