Apparently my Rosewill 750W power supply only has 20 amps on one of its 12V rails. Is 8800GTX SLI supported with four 6 pin connectors, and I REALLY want a 9800GTX+ from evga. Can anyone tell me what could/may happen to my computer if i end up buying the GTX+??

My power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817182067

The Graphics card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130416

I mean people can run a custom overclocked 8800GTS that says it requires 26 Amps on a 18 amp 12V rail. So I would REALLY like some solid feedback before I buy it. Thanks yall.

Not the best power supply, but with the four 12V rails @20A you should be fine.

I hope so....... I mean the graphics card has one 6 pin so i'm liking that...... But the PSU was 100 dollars when i bought it and had 5 stars (eggs on newegg) and the big cards werent out yet...... did i mention it was a 100 dollar 750 watt psu? lol

I just wish the people actually viewed the page would say something.....even if you just "think"....any advice for me would be helpful

Based on the specs of the card and power supply, it will work.

Reply to Jim_L9

It would work
The PSU sucks imo quality wise
But it will work fine

I would NEVER EVER use Newegg reviews. To them...if it turns on it gets 5 stars and thats all. They dont know anything more. Quality, performance, efficiency....nada

Ur computer will need around 250 watts at load. Next time buy a high quality, lower wattage psu.
You'll be fine, though.

The review of the Rosewill RX750 S B at Jonnyguru where it got a "RECOMMENDED" review
http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.p [...] y4&reid=60

Reply to dirtmountain

Most of its score was obtained from everything else BUT accepted
Its Performance is an 8 reviewed by MadMat who, besides not being a reviewer anymore, is much less lenient when it comes to "performance" compared to Oklahoma Wolf

And thats RLY awkward ripple....

Do NOT buy any Rosewill products. They are utter poo. Especialy PSUs from that company. You are lucky to push out 680w on that thing as it is. If your rig does not have the propper PSU you may suffer BSOD, random errors and or crashes. Rosewill PSUs are know to pop btw. I hope your PSU is a bottom mount.

My case is a rosewill case too. Are some pictures I took. Custom mounted 140 MM fan in the front, custom cut side window...... I think it came out good.
