HDD Dock and WD HDD Question!

Hi!

I have a SunbeamTech HDD Docking Station and I just bought a 1TB WD Green HDD today for using it with the dock. Now my question is, can I keep the dock switched ON always because I would like to use this 1TB HDD for downloading. Is it okay and safe to keep the dock ON at all times with this new 1TB HDD? I have mounted 2X120mm fans at the back of the dock blowing cool air onto the HDD to keep it a extra bit cooler.

I think you'll be just fine leaving it on for long periods of time, as they are made to be kept on for long periods of time (or so they say). If you want to preserve it, just make sure you shut it off when you are done using it or the computer.
