Underclocking netbook memory

I recently bought my mom a Fujitsu M2010 netbook. It's got the intel N270 and 1gb DDR2 667mhz. Well, the N270 only has a 533mhz fsb. Would it make sense to underclock the ram and try to tighten up the timings? or maybe just improve the battery life? I've never messed around with this sort of thing on a netbook so I'm a little hesitant. Thanks!

Not worth doing, and to be honest I'm not even sure if you can change memory speed and timings on a laptop.

To save battery life you'd be looking at undervolting the memory, but its not worth doing. Just leave it as it is.
