Code 43 usb error for thumb drive

i,ve inserted my thumbdrive into a virus affected pc after that my thumbrive shows error 43 code n not recognised

Right click drive in my computer, go properties, go format, should work after that

Error code 43 will prevent the device from being recognized, so you will not be able to format it.
