Mobo and mem rec for Q9400

Looking to get an intel Q9400.,

I'm looking at the Gigabyte board, but I can't really tell that much diff between teh UD3R, UD3P, the UD3RL, etc. Not planning to overclock that much, although I might dabble with it.

I'm also looking at memory. Are there any memory that's not compatible with a Gig mobo? I was looking at the G-skill 4 gig for $45 on newegg. There's a cheaper $30 one that's an OCZ i think.
