Motherboard cannot retain profile

I recently overclocked my PC,

Gigabyte EX58-UD3R
6GB DDR3 Corsair TR3X6G1600C9 RAM
EVGA GTX 260 Core 216
Corsair TX650W

Now my problem is, I am able to overclock this fine and my system is running absolutely stable, however if I turn off my computer and disconnect it from the mains socket via the off button, my profile will not load up and my motherboard will sate to me that the hardware settings are incorrect due to a frequency or voltage change. However, if I keep the main socket ON then the computer boots up with the correct overclock settings.

Me and my friend have tried different settings to no prevail. We're both pretty new to overclocking, this could explain why we can't find a problem.

Now my question is, do any of you know why my motherboard cannot retain the profile? Have I done something wrong in my overclock?

Thanks, Ed :hello:
